A gun-toting man who fatally shot a man at a Walmart in Arizona was convicted of murder by reason of insanity and sentenced to 20 years in prison, The Arizona Republic reports.
Robert Thomas Wilson was sentenced Tuesday to 20 to 25 years in federal prison after a trial in Tucson, according to the newspaper.
A jury deliberated for about two hours before finding him guilty on all counts.
Wilson had pleaded not guilty to murder charges, but prosecutors said the killing was premeditated.
He was arrested in 2014 after a 911 call came in from a friend of his that a person had shot at the store.
He had previously been charged with attempted murder and weapons violations.
Prosecutors had argued Wilson was acting in self-defense when he shot the victim at the Walmart.
